I consult with researchers and clinicians to help them set up and run labs in the area of human psychophysiology. I have decades of experience in using Biopac Systems equipment, and I train lab members in how to collect several types of physiological data, including elicited muscle potentials, heart rate and its variability, and skin conductance level and response. These consultations include setting up the research equipment, training all lab personnel, modifying software for the particular application, and assisting with data analysis and report or paper writing. I have 45 years of experience in the use of the startle reflex to study information processing, emotion, perception, clinical conditions, personality constructs, drug effects, and developmental changes. I have co-authored over 100 scientific publications using the startle response, and given over 200 conference presentations, as well as dozens of invited lectures in many countries.
