Welcome to GovIntel. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the GovIntel platform and services operated by Crossroads Group ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using GovIntel, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Description of Service
GovIntel is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform that helps small businesses discover and pursue federal contracting opportunities. Our service includes:
Integration with SAM.gov to surface federal contract opportunities
AI-powered matching based on your business profile
Tools to save, organize, and track contract opportunities
AI assistance for proposal preparation
2. Account Registration
To use GovIntel, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for:
Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
All activities that occur under your account
Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization.
3. Subscription and Payment
GovIntel offers subscription plans billed monthly or annually. By subscribing, you agree to the following:
Free Trial: Monthly plans include a 14-day free trial. You will not be charged during the trial period. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and you will be charged.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your plan).
Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Refunds: We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods. Annual subscriptions are non-refundable once the subscription period has begun.
Price Changes: We reserve the right to change our prices. Any price changes will apply to billing periods starting after the change and we will notify you in advance.
4. Win Guarantee
For annual subscription customers, we offer our Win Guarantee:
Eligibility: This guarantee applies only to annual subscription purchases.
The Guarantee: If you do not win a federal contract within your first 6 months of active subscription, the remaining 6 months of your annual subscription will be provided at no additional charge.
How to Claim: To claim this guarantee, email support@crossroadsgrp.net with your account details after your first 6 months.
Active Use Required: This guarantee requires active platform usage during the 6-month period, including logging in and utilizing GovIntel's features to search for and track opportunities.
One-Time Benefit: This guarantee may only be claimed once per customer.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use GovIntel only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:
Use the service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service without authorization
Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) to access the service beyond normal use
Submit false or misleading information
Use the AI features to generate fraudulent, misleading, or illegal content
6. Government Data and Third-Party Sources
GovIntel aggregates and displays publicly available information from government sources, including but not limited to SAM.gov and USASpending.gov. This information is provided as a convenience and remains the property of the United States Government.
Your subscription to GovIntel provides access to our proprietary platform features, including but not limited to:
AI-powered contract matching and analysis
Proposal writing assistance
Saved searches and opportunity tracking
Email notifications and alerts
Competitor intelligence tools
Historical award insights and analytics
User interface and workflow tools
GovIntel does not sell, license, or charge for access to government data. All federal contracting opportunity data is freely available to the public through SAM.gov. Your subscription fees are solely for access to GovIntel's value-added features, tools, and services that enhance your ability to discover, analyze, and respond to contracting opportunities.
You acknowledge that:
We do not control and are not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of government data
Contract opportunities may change, be modified, or be cancelled without notice
You should verify all opportunity details directly on SAM.gov before submitting proposals
Your use of government data is also subject to the respective government systems' terms of use
GovIntel's platform features and tools are the sole subject of your subscription
7. AI Features
GovIntel includes AI-powered features for matching and proposal assistance. You acknowledge that:
AI-generated content is provided as a starting point and should be reviewed and edited by you
You are solely responsible for any proposals or documents you submit to government agencies
AI suggestions do not constitute legal, financial, or professional advice
We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in contract awards
Important: Do not upload classified, controlled unclassified information (CUI), or sensitive government information to GovIntel. Our platform is not authorized to handle such data.
8. Your Data
You retain ownership of any data you upload or input into GovIntel. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to use your data solely to provide and improve the service. We handle your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
GovIntel and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Crossroads Group and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Our trademarks may not be used without prior written consent.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
GovIntel is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement
That the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
That results obtained from the service will be accurate or reliable
That the service will meet your specific requirements
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Crossroads Group and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
Loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities
Loss of data or goodwill
Failure to win government contracts
Any damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crossroads Group from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to GovIntel at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination:
Your right to use the service ceases immediately
We may delete your account and data after a reasonable retention period
Provisions that should survive termination (such as limitation of liability) will remain in effect
14. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of GovIntel after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict of law principles.
