Environmental expertise includes hazardous waste, underground storage tanks, air pollution permits, wastewater treatment, Cal-EPA, recycling and risk management. He has worked in several different industries including hospitals, semiconductor manufacturing, aerospace, environmental consulting, hazardous waste remediation, asbestos abatement, and industrial manufacturing. Mr. Ballis was a highly respected GEMS Program Manager for the US Department of Veterans Affairs until he left in 2019.
